LEROY GREENE MIDDLE SCHOOL SPRING CLEAN-UP DAY HELD MAY 9th, 2009!

On May 9, 2009, RMSC Contractors (Center Point & Cache Creek Lodge), and their Parolee participants helped out at the School Clean up at Leroy Greene MS in the Natomas Unified School District of Sacramento.  The parolee participants helped plant 21 trees around the campus, paint,  hang basketball hoops, spread mulch, and  cleaned up at Orchard Park , located next to the school.  Councilman Ray Tretheway from District 1 was on hand as well. This event was coordinated by the City of Sacramento and the Natomas School District . We had over 40 parolee participants on hand and the coordinators were very appreciative.  Each participant was fed a pancake breakfast and BBQ lunch prepared by local restaurant ower of the  49er Truck Stop located off West El Camino and hwy 80.  In addition each participant was given a tee shirt and will also receive a certificate of appreciation from the City of Sacramento. HELP US BRING MUSIC BACK
The Natomas Schools Foundation is actively fundraising to be able to provide a full complement of orchestral instruments for EACH school in our district. By fostering a love of music, these musicians will then go on to join our band programs at our middle and high schools, strengthening and growing these programs.

We have estimated this will cost approximately $8,000 per campus and we are COMMITTED to achieving this goal. Every little bit helps...no donation is too small to help make a difference in the lives and education of our youth. Please spread the word about this wonderful program! We thank you for your support!
