April 5, 2015: Don't miss the first Almost 5k Fun Run! The Fun Run will take place Saturday, May 2, 2015 as part of this year's Duck Pluck Festival. February 2015: The Natomas Schools Foundation and Trustee, Lisa Kaplan, partner to give students of the Natomas Unified School District the tools they need to be successful in both their personal and school lives. The NSF NextGen Computer Grant Program honors deserving students with a refurbished laptop or personal computer (PC) to improve student’s abilities to achieve their academic and career objectives. In addition, The Natomas Schools Foundation, through Kaplan4Kids Scholarships, is pleased to support the Closing The Digital Divide Awards by honoring and awarding three (3) deserving students with a NEW Chrome notebook. August 2014: A partnership with Education Funding Partners (EFP) has brought new business sponsorship opportunities for Natomas Schools. Recently, a Target sponsorhip provides general school supply lists for K-8 schools in Natomas and other school districts across the country. Target already provides special offers for teachers and families through various programs. NSF’s Duck Pluck Festival Raises $18,515 for Local Schools!
July 25, 2014: The fifth annual Natomas Duck Pluck Festival raised $18,515 to be divided among the participating schools within the boundaries of the Natomas Unified School District. The Duck Pluck Festival typically is the largest single fundraiser of the nonprofit Natomas Schools Foundation, which raises money to benefit charter and non-charter schools that work together in planning the event. May 5, 2014: The Natomas Schools Foundation awarded $5,000 in scholarships at the May 3 Duck Pluck Festival to be divided among seven high school students living within the boundaries of Natomas Unified School District.

October 8, 2013: Come to eat or compete! Enjoy some of the most delicious ribs at the Annual Rib Cook Off taking place Wednesday, October 16, 2013 from 5 to 8 p.m. Monty Maxwell of Comstock Mortgage and Natomas Schools Foundation Vice President will MC the event. The award-winning Inderkum High School Band will be performing. This event will support sports and band programs at Inderkum High School. September 26, 2013: The Eight Annual Natomas Scramble will take place this Friday afternoon, September 27, 2013. Come and enjoy a fun afternoon of golf at the beautiful Teal Bend Golf Course. The event is sponsored by our wonderful Natomas Chamber of Commerce. Players can register for the event up to the date of the event. Business sponsors should contact the Natomas Chamber of Commerce for more information and deadlines. Part of the proceeds will benefit the Natomas Schools Foundation.

NSF Announces New President
The NSF Board recently elected Robynne Rose-Haymer as the new President for the fiscal year starting July 1, 2013. Javier Carrillo, past President, stated, "We are pleased to have Robynne as our new President. Robynne has held a number of leadership positions in our schools and is the Inderkum High School PTSA President. I know she will continue to lead the Foundation forward and help us accomplish more great things for our amazing students, our schools, and our community." Congratulations!
