Natomas Schools Foundation Now Accepting Scholarship Applications for 2023 Scholarship Program

The Natomas Schools Foundation is offering eleven (11) $1,000 scholarships this spring to current high school seniors.

Applicants must have a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or higher and have served 50 hours or more in formal employment or volunteer service during the past two years, which can include school clubs. A short essay is required about lessons learned from that service and how it will help you achieve your future goals.

The entry deadline is Thursday, April 20 by 4:00pm. Recipients will be notified before the end of the scheduled school year by the Natomas Schools Foundation, a nonprofit group committed to raising funds to benefit students attending schools within the Natomas Unified School District boundaries.

Scholarship funds can be used toward expenses at a two-year college, four-year college, or trade school. More information and an application form are posted below.

Natomas Schools Foundation Participating in Big Day of Giving

The Natomas Schools Foundation is participating in the Big Day of Giving from now through May 5th! The Big Day of Giving is an opportunity for the community to participate in a giving challenge to assist non-profit organizations like the Natomas Schools Foundation to help fulfill their mission to support students.

Get in on the giving to help us raise $5,000 and more! Donations are now being accepted at https://www.bigdayofgiving.org/natomasschoolsfoundation.

The Natomas Schools Foundation supports the academic, athletic and artistic achievement of the students served by Natomas Unified School District. The foundation provides annual scholarships to graduating high school seniors, chromebooks to students, grants for teacher art and athletics supply, and emergency support funds for students in need.

The Natomas Schools Foundation is a registered non-profit and all donation are tax deductible.

Big Day of Giving 2022 donate now through may 5, 2022

Inderkum’s Sabor Latino Club paints mural on ‘The Book’ in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month sponsored by Natomas Schools Foundation

The Natomas community can now enjoy a beautiful, new mural on “The Book” along Del Paso Road near Inderkum High School painted and designed by students in the Natomas Unified School District. The mural was spearheaded by Inderkum High School’s Sabor Latino Club, which is open to all students to promote community service and appreciation of Hispanic cultural heritage. Natomas Schools Foundation sponsored the painting.

To celebrate the achievement of graduating seniors, the Natomas Schools Foundation continued its annual tradition of awarding scholarships to deserving students. The scholarships are awarded to students intending to pursue a college education and exemplify commitment in their academics and community service. Big Day of Giving is an opportunity for the community to participate in a 24-hour giving challenge to support non-profit organizations like the Natomas Schools Foundation to help fulfill their mission to support students.
